Then come along to the Master Gardener course – a practical, hands-on course which teaches people to become gardeners – and gardeners to become master gardeners. This course is accessible for every body.

This will run in two one week courses, one at the end of May (go to

The second half of the course will be available to people who have participated in the first half.

This hands-on workshop will explore several techniques for solar and low-energy cooking, including: parabolic solar cookers, solar box ovens, straw boxes, and more. We will show off models we’ve tried and discuss the benefits of each model. We will send you off with templates to build your own cooker at home.
$10 Castlecliff Residents, $15 all others. Kids are free.

Gawain has a business planning background and Betsy has experience designing organic permaculture/ horticulture properties.
