Permaculture Best Practice: Town and Country

This tour/workshop demonstrates a wide range of best practice decision-making for rural and suburban properties as well as providing a basket of the most practical skills to make it all happen on your patch. Two exemplar properties in the Whanganui District are included.

Tour guide and instructor, Nelson Lebo is recognised as an innovator in the permaculture and eco design movements. He is contacted regularly by the New Zealand media on all aspects of energy efficiency and healthy homes.

Heritage Harvest Festival

At Aparima College, Riverton
This event attracts thousands with its interactive demonstrations, local produce for sale, and a great variety of workshops over the weekend. For a small entry fee, you will entertain the whole family for hours and perhaps learn a thing or two about what you can grow in your own garden. Pre-registration for workshops is advised, and fees apply. Once again we will have our wonderful "Harvest Cafe" on site.
