Swales are a valuable tool for preventing erosion during heavy rains and keeping soil moisture high during periods of drought. They are taught in every PDC, yet remain a mystery to many of us.

 

This two-hour workshop teaches about swales and rain gardens through the construction of a small example at Solscape Eco-Retreat in Raglan.

 

Come a day early to the PINZ Hui in Raglan or linger for a final afternoon.
