Come and learn to make a low cost - high performance 10 square metre sleepout which needs no permit.
Experience first-hand the design and construction.
Combine resource-consciousness, creativity and construction skills.
The course includes: Building foundations through to finished plaster;
Theory and principles of sustainability; Sector analysis and site planning; Choice of suitable materials; Principles of assive solar design; Working in a team; Lots of fun.
We have set aside 2 weeks, but that is dependent on fine weather- so it may take a little longer. We will definitely break for Easter. If it is not done by then. be finished and ready for a visit during the PiNZ Hui 2010!
