Permaculture in New Zealand

This is the introductory weekend for a permaculture design certificate which will be run over 12 weekends throughout 2010 plus the design presentation.
Each session will give an overview of permaculture ethics & principles before starting the module.
Participants can either choose to complete the certificate or choose certain modules of interest without receiving the certificate. For full program check www.permaham.boo.co.nz
Module fee: sliding scale
$60 / module for beneficiaries & those completing the certificate.
$120 / module for full employment.
The certicate can be completed over to 2 year period but the first 2 modules must be done first.
Please be aware that the fees will probably increase next year.
1.Philosophy and Design Jo & Bryan Feb. 20 & 21
This 2 day course will introduce the ethics & principles of permaculture, and explores permaculture design processes.
Explore strategies for re-designing your property and lifestyle.
Explore realistic priorities for reducing your ecological footprint and designing abundance into your life. Expert design advice is provided to assist you to develop a concept plan for your site, or help you apply your learning to someone else’s site.
