Permaculture in New Zealand

Hi, I am reviving the old archived post asking for information about Sea Buckthorn (Hippophae rhamnoides or Hippophae salicifolia) since I am also interested in this plant and its fantastic permaculture possibilities.

It's not just permaculturists looking for this plant, as this article from Soutland NZ shows:

The article says that there are sources of Sea Buckthorn in NZ, though they had not yet been located.

Anyone with a lead?
