PERMACULTURE DESIGN CERTIFICATE COURSE

Come and do a life changing course in a beautiful inspiring location.
This longer 3 week course gives extra time to deepen and explore Permaculture practice and theory.
This mini-workshop will teach you how to tie four knots that everyone should know.
Take an hour out of your Saturday and brush up on those knot-tying skills.
Suitable for adults and kids over age 8.
$5 per adult. Kids are free.
Let us introduce you to the world of permaculture.
This workshop will discuss the ethics and principles of permaculture\, as well as fundemental concepts such as zoning\, sector analysis\, and systems thinking. We will also provide suggestions of books and websites that we’ve found most useful.
$10 Castlecliff Residents/ $15 All others.

EARTHBAG is one of the most environmentally friendly and cost effective forms of building. Unlike conventional building earthbag construction is quicker to complete and easier to master. No previous building experience is necessary.

Participants will learn about the historical\, cultural\, and ecological dimensions of permaculture through open dialogue and examples of a wide range of innovative design solutions from around the world.

The NorthTec Horticulture Dept is offering a “Sustainable Rural Development Level 4” in Silverdale with Transition Town organisers and tutors Gawain Sharp and Betsy Kettle. Gawain has a business planning background and Betsy has experience designing organic permaculture/ horticulture properties.
