Turangi\, in Central North Island is the home of AWHI FARM\, perhaps the newest sustainability centre in Aotearoa.
This will be the venue for the first permacultre design certificate course in Turangi and where practical experience in gardening building and design will take place.
Just as the world is in a process of radical change\, so too are most of us. This course can empower you with the tools\, ideas and visions to make clear choices to support healthy\, sustainable living for you and your family\, whanau and friends. It provides a rudder to help guide your course into the future.
Whole Section Permaculture Design

This workshop uses a current permaculture installation on a 700 square meter section to explain permaculture principles and their application. Topics covered include\: holistic design\, zonation\, sector analysis\, energy efficient home design\, incorporating the indoor and outdoor environments\, creating heat traps\, building soil fertility\, and more.
The ECO School offers high quality\, low cost sustainability education. Workshops are instructional\, experiential and fun.
